DUMAS - Funeral services for Albert Oscar Beck, 80, of 201 Peach, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Methodist Church of Dumas with the Rev. Clifford Trotter, pastor, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Clarence Bishop of the Bible Baptist Church.

Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens in Dumas, under direction of Boxwell Bros. Funeral Directors.

Mr. Beck died Thursday afternoon in Memorial Hospital.

Born in Tennessee, he was a retired employe of the Dumas schools and a member of the First Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife Edna; a daughter, Mrs. Bud Sparks of Floydada; sons, Earl, Jack and C.M. of Dumas, Oran of the U.S. Marines in Washington, D.C., and Dean of Dallas; a sister, Mrs. Maud Collier of Tempe, Ariz.; brothers, L.D. and Hill of Phoenix, Ivan of Tempe, and Davis of Victoria, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
