James R Armstrong, 50, a resident of Montgomery for 13 years, died at his home, 703 S Lawrence St, at 6:30 am Sunday, following a brief illness. Surviving are the widow, Mrs Buney Eubank Armstrong; a son, Billy Armstrong, Montgomery; two daughters, Mrs Faye Shiver, Montgomery, and Mrs Mildred J Jones, Palmetto, Fla; five sisters, Mrs Lillie Norris, Montgomery, Mrs Lizzie Free and Mrs Pinkie Nuby, both of Hartselle, Mrs Meldie Nuby, Decatur, Mrs Mady Storie and Mrs Lindie Nuby, both of Birmingham; two brothers, Floyd Armstrong, Jesup, Ga, June Armstrong, Montgomery. Funeral plans will be announced by White Chapel.
