DIMUEL H. "DEMP" KARR, age 76 of Detroit, AL. died May 23, 1988. Born in Marion County on May 11, 1912, he was the son of James William Karr and Lula Viola Camp Karr. He was an electrician and a farmer.
Funeral services were held May 25, 1988 at 2 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Clayton O'Mary serving as officiating minister. Burial was in Memory Gardens under the direction of Hamilton Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife - Jeffie B. Jeffreys Karr of Detroit; one daughter - Evon Bray of Jasper, AL; one son Bill Karr of Birmingham, AL; 3 grandchildren; three brothers - Calvin P. Karr of Sheffield, AL, Elton H. Karr of Detroit, AL, and Gladious O. Karr of Hamilton, AL; one sister - Ova Cooper of Sulligent.
