JEFFIE BELL KARR, 85, Detroit, died on Saturday, December 21, 2002, at the Ridgewood Heath Care Center in Jasper.
She was born on October 24, 1917, in Marion County, the daughter of Thomas Martin Jeffreys and Emma Jane Rye Jeffreys. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dimuel Karr.
Funeral services were held on Monday, December 23, 2002, at 2 p.m. from the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Hamilton Memory Gardens. Lyndon Vann was the officiating minister.
Survivors include one daughter - Evon (Bobby Joe) Bray; one son - Bill (Betty) Karr; three grandchildren - Kenny Karr, Beverly (Jud) Baber and Kimberly (Greg) Taylor.
Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
