OPHELIA HENSON

Ophelia Mae Henson, age 74, of Rt. 1 Detroit, passed away at the nursing home January 21, 1977. She was Activity Therapist at the Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center for some time.
Funeral services were held at Mt. Joy Church Sunday with burial in the Ballard Cemetery.
Survivors include Girthel Hawkins of Cavina, Calif.; Harshell Henson of Detroit; Loree Patterson of Huntsville; Hildred Ellis, Birmingham; Doyle Henson, Hartsville, Ala., and Dot Holladay of Orlando, FL.; brothers - Andrew Karr, Calvin Karr, G.O. Karr all of Hamilton, Elton Karr and Demuel Karr both of Detroit; sisters - Callie Rye, Detroit, Ova Cooper, Sulligent; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
