George T Donohue

A Miner that is employed at the Altoona Coal and Coke Co and residing at Coupon was crushed to death from a rock in the companys mine at that place at 10 o'clock yesterday
morning. Joseph Kolarystlk who was working next to Mr Donohue was slightly injured.

Mr Donohue was born Oct 5 1872 and was a member of the St Joseph's Catholic Church at Coupon and a council #484 Young Mens Institute at Ashville.
Surviving are his widow who was Miss Cora Litzinger three sons and nine daughters
Mrs Norma Eckenrode,Mrs Thelma Booterbaugh,Mrs Edna Stumps,
Miss Stella Donohue,John ,Ralph, Iva Daugherty, Ita ,Mary, Ethel, Reba and Orville Donohue.
Four sisters and one brother Mrs Oscar Yoghers,Mrs Henry Stygers,Mrs Josephine Wright,Mrs Edward Litzinger,and Charles Donohue.

There will be a mass in St Josephs's Church Saturday followed by interment in St. Thomas's Cemetery.

The body was prepared for burial by W.A Gibbons Ashville funeral director and will be taken to his home Thursday morning.
