Ita E. (Skeet) 98, a resident of Garvey Manor, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Mundys Corner, died April 25, 2006, at Garvey Manor. Born April 2, 1908, in Coupon, daughter of the late George and Cora (Litzinger) Donoughe. Preceded in death by brothers, John, Ralph, Robert and Orville Pat, and sisters, Norma Eckenrode, Edna Stump, Thelma Booterbaugh and Iva Dougherty. Survived by these sisters: Stella Gates, Altoona; Mary Cogan, North Carolina; Ethel Malone, Shenandoah Junction, W.Va.; and Reba Kenner, Hollidaysburg. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews. Retired in 1973 as a school teacher from Forest Hills School District. Skeet enjoyed baseball, basketball and watching the Pirates and Steelers. Member of Pennsylvania Retired Teachers Association and National Retired Teachers Association. Former member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Mundys Corner. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coupon, the Rev. Monsignor Michael Servinsky, celebrant. Committal, St. Thomas Cemetery, Ashville. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.
