Reba A. Kenner, 91, a resident of Garvey Manor Nursing Home, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Coupon, died Monday at the manor. She was born in Coupon, daughter of the late George and Cora (Litzinger) Donoughe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry C. Sr. Aug. 24, 1978; a daughter, Judith Ann Hatvany in 1974; son-in-law, Larry Smithbauer; brothers: John, Ralph, Robert and Orville Pat; and sisters: Norma Eckenrode, Edna Stump, Thelma Booterbaugh, Iva Dougherty, Ita (Skeet) Donoughe and Ethel Malone.Survived by these children: Henry (Donna Rossman) of Coupon, Nancy Ball (Gary) of Sterling, Va., twins: Sharyn Simendinger (Paul) of Ashville and Karyn Smithbauer of Boalsburg, Pamela Launi (Norman) of Keyser, W.Va., Andrea Hazlett (Edward) of Cherry Tree and Robert (JoAnn Zurilla) of Altoona RD; 30 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Stella Gates of Altoona and Mary Cogan in North Carolina; and numerous nieces and nephews.She had worked as a nurse?s aide at Altoona Hospital for 12 years and retired in 1977.Mrs. Kenner was a former member of the Ashville VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Cresson Senior Citizens and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Coupon, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Monsignor Michael Servinsky celebrant. Committal at St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville, where a vigil service will be held.In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to St. Josephs Church, Coupon, in Reba's memory.
