She was a native of Nicholas County and a member of the Myers Christian Church.
Survivors are one son, Virgil Ritchie, Nicholas County; five daughters, Mrs. Leonard Crawford, Mrs. Charles Hunt, and Mrs. Harry Purcell, all of Lexington, Mrs. henry Barnett and Mrs. Russell Cox, both of Nicholas County; one sister, Mrs. Mable Sexton, Carlisle; 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 17, at teh Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by the Rev. Roy Hunt. Burial in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Jimmy McCarty, Clay Ritchie, Robert Taylor, Terry Purcell, Eugene Letcher and Bobby Barnett.
