Silverena Debruler, age 51, of 313 North Locust Street, Cynthiana, Kentucky, died at 12:40 a.m. Sunday, March 20, 1960, at Harrison Memorial Hospital, in Cynthiana. She had been in ill health for several months. Born August 27, 1908, in Nicholas County, Kentucky, to the late Lewis T. "Lute" and Permelia Frances Bowles Kelley, she was a member of Kelat Baptist Church.

Surviving, besides her husband, Tom, are: five daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Pettit, of Oldham County, Kentucky, and Mrs. Gracie Hunt, Miss Louise Debruler, Miss Mary Ann Debruler and Miss Bessie Debruler, all of Cynthiana; a son, Joseph Debruler, of Harrison County; and four sisters, Mrs. Betty Moore, of Cynthiana, and Mrs. Lou Earlywine, Mrs. Ad Richie and Mrs. Mabel Sexton, all of Nicholas County.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at the Smith-Rees Chapel by Reverend P.E. Claybrook. Burial was in Battle Grove Cemetery.
