Greensboro – Lee Beacher Coltrane, 82, of 4000 Galway Dr. was dead on arrival
Sunday at Moses Cone Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was a trustee and charter member of Glenwood United Methodist Church, and a
life member of the church administrative board. He was a retired dairy farmer
and a member of the Junior Order of American Mechanics.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Pattie Jackson Coltrane; two daughters, Mrs. J.W.
Thacker of Greensboro and Mrs. Bruce Wakefield of Elkton, Mich; six sons,
William L. Coltrane of Greensboro, G.S. Coltrane of Kernersville, Vernon E.;
Lois E. and Jesse Coltrane, all of Greensboro, and J. Max Coltrane of
Kernersville; three step-sons, Clyde A. Jackson of Mebane, R.D. Jackson of
Winston-Salem and William Huffines of Atlanta, Ga. A stepdaughter, Mrs. Vance
Pegram of Summerfield.

Funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood United Methodist
Church, Burial will be in Guilford Memorial Park. The body is at Hanes-Lineberry
North Elm Street Chapel and the family will be there tonight from 7 until 9.
