J.L. Peters of St. Joseph Dies
St. Joseph, Jan. 30 - J.L. Peters, residing south of this place, died at 9 o'clock Friday morning from heart trouble. Mr. Peters was united in marriage to Miss Anna Moore 56 years ago and to this union eight children were born, who with his widow, survive him. The children are Emma McElwee and Lou Staton of Champaign, Pearl Lantz of Paxton, Lida Overman of Indiana, Ethel Stevens of Minnesota, Newt Peters of Summer, Fred Peters of Chicago and Grant Peters at home. The funeral will take place at 1:30 Monday afternoon at the home.
