Funeral services for Mr. Lawrence W. Pesnell, 74, of Ruston will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at the Chapel of Kirkpatrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Roy Flurry officiating. Burial will be in Simsboro Cemetery in Simsboro under the direction of Kirkpatrick's of Ruston.
Mr. Pesnell died on Sunday at Alpine Guest Care Center in Ruston after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Pesnell was a native of Simsboro and a retired auto mechanic. He was preceded in death by his wife Birdie Black Pesnell.
Mr. Pesnell is survived by one brother, Leon Pesnell of Arcadia; one sister Elvia A. Flurry of El Dorado, AR, one step-daughter Betty Jo Lucas of Memphis, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
