Mr. Saxon Pesnell, 56, of Simsboro, died Saturday afternoon in the Lincoln General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. in the Simsboro Methodist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Pyles officiating, assisted by the Rev. Fred Gilbert.
Burial will be in the Simsboro Cemetery under the direction of Spears Funeral Home of Ruston.
Mr. Pesnell was an electrician and a farmer and a resident of Simsboro.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lillian C Pesnell of Simsboro, his mother, Mrs. Maggie Pesnell of Simsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Louise Allen and Mrs. Joyce Virginia Edmiston both of Simsboro and Mrs. Dorothy Jean Brown of Choudrant; five brothers, Belton Pesnell of Simsboro, Lawrence Pesnell of El Dorado, Ark., Murrell Pesnell of Monroe; William Pesnell of Arcadia, and Leon Pesnell of Simsboro; one sister, Mrs. Elvia Flurry of West Monroe; and seven grandchildren
