Velton G Pesnell, 58, of Monroe, died Sunday at the E. A. Conway Hospital following a short illness.
He was a native of Simsboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Monday in Kilpatrick's Funeral Home chapel in Ruston with the Revs. J. M. Parker and Roy Flurry officiating. Burial will take place in Simsboro Cemetery.
He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Betty Pesnell of Choudrant, Mrs. Francis Baker of Laurel, Miss., Mrs Irene Perritt of Arcadia, Mrs. Wanda Ledford of Houston, Tex., Miss Jimmis Pesnell of Ruston; one son, Clyde R Pesnell of Ruston; four brothers, Lawrence Pesnell of El Dorado, Ark.; Murrell Pesnell of Monroe; William Pesnell of Ruston; and Leon Pesnell of Arcadia; one sister, Mrs, Ray Flurry of Coushatta; and eight grandchildren.
