She was a native of Lincoln Parish and a member of the Simsboro Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in the Simsboro Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed Parks officiating.
Burial will take place in Simsboro Cemetery under the direction of Kirkpatrick's Funeral Home of Ruston.
Survivors include five sons, Velton GPesnell and Leon L. Pesnell both of Simsboro; Larance W. Pesnell of El Dorado, Ark., Murrell E. Pesnell of West Monroe and William W. Pesnell of Ruston; one daughter, Mrs. Roy Flurry of West Monroe; one sister Mrs. Myrtie Daniel of Roswell, NM., 18 grandchildren and 17 great grand children.
