Helen Edna May Crocker Andrews was the daughter of Silas Monroe Crocker and Hattie Lee Smith.

Helen married Chester Andrews, when he was serving in the Military in Mississsippi.

They lived most of their married life in the Los Angeles, California area and had one daughter.

They also had a granddaughter and a grandson.

Helen remained close to her Mississippi family at often hosted them in her home. The wandering cousins always enjoyed spending time with her. She returned often to visit the large family in the south, enjoying the huge TF Smith reunions when she could.

Her daughter remembers: She was short 4'8" is the first thing people noticed. Size four shoes, loved her high heels. She had a real fervor for her nursery work in her church. Children were drawn to her lap. Mom was devoted to me, her daughter of course. We were best friends always. She longed to be in Miss. with her family. It was her real wish in life.
