Mrs. Eva J. Kitt, 86, University Park, Iowa, (formerly of Wauneta, Nebraska, died Friday, June 13 at Marion General Hospital, Marion, Indiana.
On June 13, 1894, she was born in McDonald, Kansas, the daughter of James and Blanche (Barnhart) DeHart.
She married Vearl Kitt in Benkelman, Nebraska on December 25, 1918. He survives.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oskaloosa, Iowa.
Also surviving are three daughters: Mrs. Ken Diller (Verla) of Bluffton, Ohio, Mrs. Charles (Darlene) Bellus of Marion, Indiana and Mrs. Marvin (Elaine) Asfahl of Wilmore, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Malvin (Ernestine) Hendrickson of Benkelman, Nebraska.
Services were held Tuesday, June 17 at the Oskaloosa Church of the Nazarene with the Revs. Don Comstock and LeRoy Lindsey officiating. Burial was in the University Park Cemetery in University Park.
Her many relatives and friends will miss her, but her testimony will linger on to inspire and bless.
Memorials may be desiginated to the Gideon Bibles. Arrangements were by the Newman Funeral Chapel.
