Mr. Henry Ernest Ambush Sr., 80, of Adamstown, died on Friday, June 4, at Veteran Affairs Medical Center, Martinsburg, W.Va.

He was the husband of the late Charlotte Ambush Ambush.

Born Sept. 13, 1918, in Maryland, he was a son of the late John P. and Mary L. Onley Ambush.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

He spent his life employed in the masonry and construction trade.

He devoted his life to his family and home.

He is survived by two sons, Henry E. Ambush Jr. of Washington, and Eric A. Ambush of Derwood; four grandchildren, Tracy, Robyn, Brandy and Katie Ambush; and four brothers, Vernon and Linwood Ambush, both of Adamstown, and Leo and Floyd Ambush, both of Della.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth W. Ambush; and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick. The Rev. Christine A. Moore, of St. Paul's A.M.E. Church, Dickerson, will officiate The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services.

Interment will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
