Obituary

David L.Williams was born to the union of the late Thomas and Ruth Williams on May 10,1946.
He attended Central High School and was a former employee of Corhart Corp.

David was fondly known as "Capone"to his friends. He was funny..he was spirited..he was the life of the party. He was up on all current events. He read a lot of books, the daily newspaper, magazines and other readings..and he watched a lot of T.V.,He could engage you in a conversation about almost anything. He had a wealth of trivial knowledge.David had a way of leaving a lasting impression on everyone he knew and met.As some folks would say "David was just David".He loved life...he lived his life to the fullest...everyday.Even during his illness,he ran this race called life...with vigor...doing it "his way".He often said "Death will have to catch me running".
On Wednesday morning,June 2,2004,David ran his last mile of the way.He completed this race called life...and you can believe...Death caught him running.

At the finish line,he leaves to mourn his departure and cherish his memory,a wife,Delois Williams;two daughters,Shunzetta and Angel Williams;four grandchildren;two great-grandchildren;one sister,Yvonne Williams;three brothers,James,Gordon Sr.,and Wayman Williams;many nephews and nieces,and a host of other relatives and friends.

"Miss Me...But Let Me Go"
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me,I want no rites in a gloom filled room,Why cry for a soul set free?Miss me a little while..but not too long,And not with your head bowed too low.Remember the love that we once shared,Miss Me..But Let Me Go.For this a journey that we all must take And each must go alone,
"MISS ME BUT LET ME GO"
