Delores Hamilton(Lois)Williams was born November 24,1942 in Louisville,Kentucky to Elza I.and Doretha C.Hamilton,who preceded her in death.Lois departed her earthly life Friday,April 20th,2007 at Hospice surrounded by family and friends.She attended Central High School and in 1986 knowing the Lord was baptized at Bates Memorial Baptist Church.

Delores was a loving mother,grandmother,sister and kind-hearted soul that always had the best interests of her children,grandchildren,and loved ones at heart.Her home was always open to those in need,and she always had a smile on her face.Lois was a friend to everyone who knew her.

Delores joins her son Tonye Sheppard and brother Thomas Hamilton in God's kingdom who preceded her in death.She leaves three daughters;Karen Stevenson,Terri Sheppard,and Rhonda Hawk(Darryl)and one son Damon Sheppard to mourn.Her loving sister,Patricia H.Gales(James)along with a host of grandchildren,great-grandchildren,family and friends are left a legacy of kindness and thoughtfulness to cherish and carry on.

Your journey has been long and the road has been rough,but now your journey is over.You've fought a great fight.Your body was tired but your spirit was strong, no more pain and suffering,just peace and joy.Our hearts are filled with sorrow and we hate to see you go,but deep down inside we know your suffering is no more.We will miss you day by day,night by night,and year by year,but we know God has you in his loving care.
