remarried. Effie was the second wife of Benjamin P. Holmes. He had eleven children by his first
wife (Laura Ludlam). He was a country doctor, farmer, and ran a turpentine still. Effie was a
homemaker who loved for her family to visit. Effie died June 15, 1961 and Benjamin died April 6,
