BOOTH, CHARLOTTE URILLA [James Thomas Booth, John James Booth, James Booth, Thomas
Booth], daughter of James Thomas Booth and Clarkey Bessant Hux. Charlotte was born July 26,
1860 and died Feb 10, 1906. On Sept. 14, 1876 she married Joseph Parker Ludlam, a free-will Baptist preacher and farmer. Joseph was born Oct. 11, 1857 and died Dec. 29, 1917. (Joseph Parker Ludlam was the son of James Nelson Ludlam. James Nelson Ludlam was born March 21, 1824 and married Julia Ann Alford on Oct. 14, 1845. Julia Ann Alford was born Oct. 23, 1825.

James Nelson Ludlam was the son of Polly Booth and Isaac Ludlam. Polly Booth was the sister of John James Booth). After the death of his first wife, Mr. Ludlam married again (to Celia Brown)and had three children. Mr. Ludlam and his two wives are buried at Bakers Chapel.

Charlotte "would sit on the shady side of the porch and I would pull up a little chair beside hers and listen as she read Bible stories. [from remembrances of James Nelson Ludlam]. She died of pneumonia a short time after cooking a birthday dinner for Nelson.
