On Oct 21 1903 he married Nancy Hardwick, the daughter of Bethel Hardwick and Colen E Alford. Enoch farmed on land located between the Adrian and Good Hope communites, He was also a carpenter-one of his jobs was part of the crew that built the Ocean Forest Hotel(the million dollar hotel) in Myrtle Beach. Enoch was easy going, grew great watermelons, and devised a systen to cure sweet potatoes with gas. Nancy was born July 3, 1880 amd doed Feb. 7 1975. She was a sweet lady who loved flowers and did not work in the fields.
Granddaughter Gail remembers that Enoch always smelled like Juicy Fruit chewing gum. They had a "warm home to be in." Both are buried at Poplar Methodist Church.
