CONWAY - Mrs. Clarkie Booth Hardwick, 88, widow of Noah Scarborough Hardwick, of the Adrian section of Horry County, died Wednesday at a Summerville hospital.
The funeral will be 4 p.m. Friday at Poplar United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hardwick was born in Horry County a daughter of the late James T. and Clarkie Bessant Hucks Booth. She was a member of Poplar United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Rev. Olen Hardwick of Waynesville, N.C. and Herbert Hardwick of North Charleston; two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Sechler of Summerville and Mrs. Roberta Koblank of Opa Locka, Florida; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great grandchildren.
