Thomas L. Nance, 73, of Mountain Home died Thursday January 5, 1995 at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Formerly of Aurora, IL., Mr. Nance moved to Horseshoe Bend, in 1979 and had lived in Mountain Home since 1991.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Cook officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9p.m. Monday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Entombment will be at the Mausoleum of Hope at Baxter Memorial Gardens. A Moose service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Mountain Home Moose Lodge #1953 officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be the North Arkansas Wood Carvers Association.
Mr. Nance was born April 13, 1921, at Fairbury, IL to Thomas S. and Helen C. Flury Nance. He was retired after 25 years in maintenance with Caterpiller in Aurora, IL.
He married Cecelia M. Dudek on June 14, 1944, at Chicago, IL.
He was a member of Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, North Arkansas Wood Carvers Association, Moose Lodge #1953 and American Legion Alley White Post 52. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II.
He was preceded in death by parents, a brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Cecelia of the home; one son, Thomas S. And wife Linda Nance of Simpsonville, SC,; one daughter, Barbara and husband James Olmsted of Streator, IL.; four brothers, John Nance of Forrest, IL., Donald Nance of San Diego, CA., Richard Nance of Chenoa, IL., and James Nance of Palos Hills, IL.; eight sisters, Charlotte Hartman of Racine, WI., Shirley Dickerson of Onarga, IL., Betty Faw of Fiarbury, IL., Barbara White of Mahomet, IL., Linda Sparks of Coolidge, AZ., Judith Hildreth of Normal, IL., Madge Baxston of New Braunfels, TX., and Margie Hedrick of Fairbury, IL.; six grandchildren, Benjamin, Ryan, Joshua and Andrea Nance and James and Timothy Olmsted; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Baxter County Regional Hospital Emergency Room.

Thomas was disenturned on June 13, 2001 and buried in Hillcrest on June 14, 2001.
