Francis Leroy Nance, aged two years, eight months and nine days, son of Thomas and Helen Nance, passed away at his home in Fairbury, Illinois Sunday morning, his death being caused by whooping cough, followed by pneumonia.
Francis Leroy is survived by his parents, one brother, Thomas, and three sisters, Mary, Charlotte and Mardell.
Funeral services were held from the home on Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, the Rev. C.S. Davies officiating. Interment was in the Graceland Cemetery.
He was born July 8, 1926 and was called "Georgie" by his family. He died March 17, 1929 and is buried at the foot of Magdalena "Maggie" Flury's grave
