CLINCHPORT, Va. ---- Mrs Emma Roberts Manring, 35, died Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at her home, Clinchport, Route 3, after a lingering illness.
Survivors include her husband, John Manring; her mother, Mrs. Mattie B. Roberts, Clinchport; five sisters, Mrs Jess Huckleberry (Huckleby) and Mrs. Andy Crumb (Crumley), both of Knoxville, Mrs. George Markham (Marcum) and Mrs. Bill Wilkey, both of Kingsport and Mrs. Rex Trent, Rogersville; three brothers, Kay Roberts, Duffield, Lloyd Roberts, Knoxville and Simon Roberts of Gate City.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Purchase Ridge Baptist Church. The Rev. Roy Jenkins, the Rev. Roy Bowens and the Rev. Lester Smith will officiated. Burial will be in the Necessary Cemetery.
The body was removed to the residence from the Scott County Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Monday.
