Emory G. Wildasin, Brodbeck RD, Dies
Brodbeck – Emory G. Wildasin, husband of Mrs. Ellen Amspacher Wildasin, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at his home, Brodbeck RD, following a long illness. He was 76.
A farmer all of his life, he had resided in this area for the past 55 years. He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Dub's Union Church, Hanover RD.
Surviving, besides his widow, are: A son, Paul W. Wildasin, Brodbeck RD 1; a foster daughter, Mrs. Curvin Miller, Spring Grove RD 2; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters, Mrs. Pius Dubs, Millers, Md., RD; Daniel Wildasin, Lineboro, Md., RD; H. P. Wildasin, Brodbeck RD 1; Calvin Wildasin, Black Rock; Mrs. John Greenplate, Spring Grove RD, and Mrs. John Thomas, Glen Rock RD.
Rev. Russell Schilling, Lutheran pastor of Dub's Church, will officiate at funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the late home, with concluding rites at the church. Rev. A. M. Hollinger, former Lutheran pastor of the church now retired, will assist. Interment will be in the cemetery adjoining the church. Funeral Directors H. C. Geiple and Son, Glen Rock, have charge of arrangements.
