Horatio P. Wildasin
BRODBECK – Horatio P. Wildasin, 90, husband of the late Mrs. Laura E. Wildasin and formerly of Brodbeck, died Friday at 12:15 p.m. at Pleasant Acres Hospital.
He had resided in recent years with a daughter, Mrs. Malden T. Miller, 113 Lyndhurst Road, York, and had been in the hospital for the past 10 months.
Mr. Wildasin was a produce man at the Brodbeck store before retiring 11 years ago. He was a lifelong resident of that area, son of the late Levi and Lydia Utz Wildasin, and was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and Sunday School.
Surviving are five children, Mrs. George Wolfgang, Brodbeck; Mrs. Miller; Melvin Wildasin, Hanover RD; Mrs. Raymond Meckley, 4233 Webster Drive, York, and R. Burnell Wildasin, Brodbeck; 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Jennie Greenplate, Glen Rock RD 1.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Rev. Harold L. Rosenberry, Mr. Wildasin's pastor, will officiate. Burial will take place in Jefferson Cemetery.

Couple Wed 50 Years Honored
Brodbeck - Mr. and Mrs. Horatio P. Wildasin, this place, who recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, were honored with a family dinner at the home of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Malden T. Miller, 113 Lyndhurst Road, Yorkshire.
The Wildasins were married Nov. 9, 1902, in the West Manheim Lutheran parsonage, Pleasant Street, Hanover, by the pastor, Rev. J. A. Metzger.
They are the parents of five children, Mrs. George Wolfgang and R. Burnell Wildasin, both of this place; Mrs. Malden T. Miller, Yorkshire; Mrs. Raymond Meckley, Red Lion, and Melvin Wildasin, Glenville. They also have 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
A three-tier wedding cake formed the center-piece of the table. The celebrants received a basket of flowers from the grandchildren and other gifts. Mrs. Wildasin wore an orchid corsage, also a gift from the grandchildren.
Attending the dinner were: Mr. and Mrs. George Wolfgang and son, Donald; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Mosebrook and children, David and Gail; Mr. and Mrs. Malden T. Miller; Mr. and Mrs. Malden L. Miller and daughter, Bonnie; Mr. and Mrs. Dale Werner and daughter, Carla Jo; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Wildasin and children, Delores, Kenneth and Donna; Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Meckley and daughters, Joan and Beth; Mr. and Mrs. R. Burnell Wildasin and sons, Burnell and Byron.
