Walter Bowermaster, 54, RD6 Shippensburg, died Tuesday at his home.
He was a carpenter for Union Local 287 and a veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of South Mountain Chapel Brethren in Christ Church.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy H. Bowermaster; two sons, Walter E. Bowermaster, RD6 Shippensburg, and Kevin N. Bowermaster, RD2 Shippensburg; two daughters, Wanda Horst, Orrstown, and Deborah Ott, RD6 Shippensburg; three brothers, Elmer and Earl Bowermaster, both of Shippensburg, and Harry Bowermaster, RD1 Newville; three sisters, Elizabeth Rhone, Fayetteville, Janet Hartman, RD2 Shippensburg, and Rosie Stoner, RD6, Shippensburg; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Fogelsanger Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. Roger N. Witter officiating. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle, where military graveside services will be held.
Friends may call at the funeral home today from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Valley Hose Company Ambulance Fund, 56 W. King St., Shippensburg 17257.
