Janet J. Hartman, 62, formerly of Shippensburg RD 2, died Monday in the Cumberland County Nursing Home, Middlesex Twp.

She was of the Protestant faith.

Surviving are her husband, Clarence J. Hartman; four sons, Larry, Leroy, and Roy Bowermaster, all of Shippensburg, and Clarence J. Hartman Jr. of Carlisle; three brothers, Elmer and Earl Bowermaster, both of Shippensburg, and Harry Bowermaster of Newville; two sisters, Elizabeth Rhone of Fayetteville, and Rose Stoner of Shippensburg; and six grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Russell officiating. Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery, South Newton Twp.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Cumberland County Unit, 117 N. Hanover St., Carlisle 17013.
