Earl Bowermaster Sr.

Services for Earl Bowermaster Sr. of the Cumberland County Nursing Home, Middlesex Township, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, 112 W. King St., Shippensburg.

He died Monday, June 24, 1996, in the home.

Born Aug. 9, 1919, in Southampton Township, he was a son of the late George A. and Nellie G. Sell Bowermaster and the widower of Beulah Rebuck Bowermaster, who died July 5, 1957.

He was retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg.

Mr. Bowermaster was a Protestant and a member of Minnequa Social Club in Shippensburg.

Surviving are his son, Earl Jr. of Shippensburg; one brother, Harry of Newville; one sister, Rose Stoner of Shippensburg; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Thomas R. Williamson will officiate at Friday's service. Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery, Lurgan Township, Franklin County.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
