Jacob M, Schneider, 75, of Kloten, Calumet county, died at his home Thursday afternoon.
Mr. Schneider was born March 31, 1873 a son of Michael and Elizabeth Schneider and a lifelong resident of Kloten, Mr. Schneider attended St. Elizabeth school there in his youth and for most of his life operated a farm there. He was married to Miss Mary Ludwig May 21, 1901, at St. Elizabeth's church at Kloten. He was a member of the Holy Name society of that church.

Survivors are his wife; two sons, Ray, of New Holstein, and Norman, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Roman (Leona) Pethan; 14 grandchildren; six brothers, John and Henry, of Chilton, Joseph, of Forest Junction, Emanuel, of Marion, Mich., Charles, of Medina, Wis., and Edmond, of Kiel; and three sisters, Mrs. Louisa Neuber and Mrs. John (Mary) Hoerth, of Chilton, and Mrs. Herbert (Regina) Baurichter; of Watertown.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Viola, who passed away in 1903 at the age of five and one-half months. A brother, Frank, died in 1936 andtwo sisters died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at the Erbe-Hoffmann Funeral home in Chilton at 9 a, m, Monday and at St. Elizabeth's church at Kloten at 9:30 a. m. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme will officiate, and burial will be in the Kloten cemetery.
