IN LOVING MEMORY
Daniel T. Sunding was born August 6, 1913 in Douglas Township in Hyde County, South Dakota, to Gunder T and Margaret D (Knudtson) Sunding and died August 11, 2002, at Hand County Memorial Hospital in Miller,South Dakota, at the age of 89 years and five days.

He grew up in Douglas Township, where he attended elementary school and was a graduating member of the Highmore High School Class of 1931. He was a lifelong member of OUr Savior Lutheran Church, baptized as an infant and confirmed as a young adult.
He was united in marriage to Freda S. Schorzman on October 11, 1940. To this union one daughter, Anita Christine was born.
He ranched with his father in northern Hyde County from 1936 until 1942, when he was inducted intothe United States Army as part of the 56th General Hospital. He was released from active duty with an honorable discharge in 1945. Together, Dan and Freda returned to Hyde County, where they purchased a ranch and worked until 1977, when they moved into a new home in Highmore. He also became affliated with Tatge Chemical Company as a District Manager in 1964 and continued until 1992. He was an avid sports fan and active in teh HHS Alumni Association.

Survivors include his daughter and son in law, Anita And Fran Keller; two grandsons and their families: Wade and Jenni Keller, Sommer and Nicholas; and Brent and Hearther Keller and new great grandson, Cameron Daniel; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents, one brother, Clarence; and three sisters: Lona Weidenbach, Elsie Odegaard and Ella Weidenbach.
