Minnie M. Seymore was born May 18, 1882 in Jewell County and had lived in Topeka most of her life. She was a member of Church of the Open Door and Spanish American War Veterans Auxiliary, Armstrong Camp No. 1. Her husband, Joseph D. Seymore, died in 1963. They owned and operated a grocery store more than 25 years before retiring in 1956.
She was survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vera Jackson and Verna Seymore; two sisters, Mrs. Katie Bailey, Portola, Calif., and Mrs. Nellie Frazier, Mayetta; six brothers, Ray Crouse, Bryan Crouse and Leedy Crouse, all of Great Bend, Van Crouse, Clyde, Charles Crouse, West Plains, Mo., and Roy Crouse, Kelseyville, Calif.; and a grandson.
