Obituary:

Edwin [aka Evern] Francis Crouse died at his home northeast of this city yesterday morning after a short illness.

Mr. Crouse had been a resident of Kansas for the past 24 years but with his family came to Great Bend about two years ago and moved onto a farm northeast of town. The remains were taken to the Cox Undertaking parlors and this evening will be sent to the old home at Topeka for interment.

E. F. Crouse and Mary Roosa were married on March 5, 1874 in Webster County, Iowa.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 18, from Penwell's chapel in Topeka with burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
