J . B. (Pat) Crouse died at a nursing home in Ellinwood. He was born Feb. 28, 1893 at Tecumseh, Neb. and married Bertha Reed, June 12, 1923 at Great Bend. He was a retired engineer for Western Power Co. He was a member of Great Bend First Christian Church, Oddfellows, American Legion and Veterans of World War I.
Survivors included his widow; son: Charles, Merrimack, N.H.; daughters: Mrs. Patricia Bruns, Bridgewater, Va.; Mrs. Marilyn Garcia, Great Bend; brothers: Ray and Abram, both of Great Bend; six grandchildren.
