Mrs. E. F. Crouse died at the family home a few miles northeast of this city last night after an illness of but a few days duration.
Mr. Crouse died here last summer, and she is survived by twelve children, five daughters and seven sons, four of the latter being in their country's service at the present time. Leedy and Lester are at home and Sergt. Charles Crouse is one of the military instructors at Camp Funston.

Funeral services were held Thursday, January 2, at 2:30 o'clock from Penwell's chapel in Topeka with burial in Mt. Auburn cemetery.
