Mrs. Ella Moss
Services for Mrs. Ella Moss, 95, 2307 Ohio, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Wall-Diffenderfer Chapel with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. She died Thursday evening in a Topeka nursing home.
She was born March 15, 1864, at Wheeling, W. Va., and was a resident of Kansas 60 years. She lived on a farm in the Belvoir community and later in Richland before moving to Topeka about 25 years ago. She was a member of the Highland Park Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, George G. Moss, 2827 Wisconsin; two granddaughters, Mrs. Georgine Bigos of Berwyn, Ill. and Mrs. Esther Wulfkuhle of Lecompton; and four great-granddaughters.
Note:The Belvoir community is now part of Topeka. When Ella lived there, it was a separate community on Topeka's east side, with its own school system. The Richland community was just south of Topeka. Both Belvoir and Richland were in Shawnee County.
