Earl F. "Snook" Alpaugh, 79, 201 South Penn Street, Shippensburg, died Friday, June 6, 2008 in Menno Haven, Chambersburg.
Born June 24, 1928 in Shippensburg; he was a son of the late Erastus and Alice Dunbar Alpaugh.
Earl retired from the Inventory Branch at Letterkenny Army Depot. He was a member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg and was a 1946 graduate of the Shippensburg High School.
He is survived by a sister in law, Alice E. Alpaugh, Chambersburg, a nephew, Rick Alpaugh and his wife, Reggie, Manasas, VA, three nieces, Sue Alpaugh, Shippensburg, Kay and Joan Flowers both of Pensacola, FL.
Earl was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles F., John E., Russell L. and Richard L. Alpaugh.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2008 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10:30 A.M. Officiating will be The Rev. Vernon D. Isner. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
