Lottie Schroeder, 89, of Wayne died Saturday, April 7, 1990 at the Wayne Care Center. Services were held Monday, April 9 at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Wayne. The Rev. Frank Rothfuss officiated.

Charlotte "Lottie" Louise Schroeder, the daughter of William and Albertina Schutt Damme, was bom April 16, 1900 on a farm near Wayne. She attended rural school in District 10. She married William Schroeder on Nov 30, 1921 at her parents home. The couple lived in Norfolk before moving back to Wayne County to farm in 1927, retiring to Wayne in 1963. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Central Social and City Sisters Circle Club in Wayne.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Helen) Heikes of Coleridge and Mrs. Norman (Esther) Janke of Semi Valley, Calif.; six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; two brothers, Albert Damme of Wayne and Carl Damme of Wayne; nieces and nephews.
