Marie Simpson was born March 07, 1907 in Rockwall Co. Texas daughter of William Jasper Simpson and Una Gay Vaughan Simpson. Marie died after a short battle with ovarian cancer. She is surivied by four young children, Billy 16, Wanda 14, Edna 12 and Jimmy 8,of Bowie, Texas, all formerly of Buffalo Gap, Texas. A daughter Thelma Burrus her husband Amos and granddaughter Sheila Burrus of Washington D C, three brothers; Frank Simpson of Bradshaw, Clarence Simpson of San Antonio, Ilis Simpson of Winters and five sisters; Beulah Boozer of Granbury, Josie Hughes of Granbury, Fay Seay of Lamesa, Gladys Seaborn of Buffalo Gap and Janie Wearden of Winters, her parents W J & Una Simpson of Winters and her husband of 23 years Royce Haldane Grace and numerous nieces and nephews and other family members. Marie was a member of the United Methodist Church in Buffalo Gap. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge of Tuscola. She was a wonderful mother and will be missed by everyone who loved her.
