Una Gay came to Texas with her parents at the age of 2, where they settled in Denton Co. She married William "Will" Jasper Simpson September 07, 1902 in Denton Co. She and Will came to Runnels County in 1928 settling in the Drasco community
Una was preceded in death by her husband Will Simpson, one daughter Marie Grace and a son Frank Simpson.
She is survivied by two sons; Clarence Simpson of San Antonio, Ilis Simpson of Winters, five daughters; Beulah Boozer of Granbury, Josie Hughes of Granbury, Fay Seay of Lamesa, Gladys Seaborn of Buffalo Gap, Janie Wearden of Winters, 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
