Delbert Taylor, Montpelier, ID died at the Bear Lake Nursing Home Sept 29, 1998, of Parkinson's disease. He was buried in Montpelier Oct 8.
He was the ninth in a family of 12 children. He was born on Feb 18, 1908 in Mapleton, ID to Frank and Priscilla Merrill Taylor. He had a twin brother Albert who was killed by lightening July 15, 1945 in Afton.
His family moved to Fairview where they lived for several years, they then moved to Logan. Then the family moved back to Star Valley. Delbert and Inez Pugmire Gubler were married June 14, 1941. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple Oct 23, 1946.
Dell and Inez and family moved to Boise in 1947 where he owned and operated a grade A dairy farm. In June 1996 they moved to Montpelier to make their home.
He is survived by his wife Inez and six children; Laura Fergenson, Fish Haven, ID; Athleen Rasmunson currently serving a mission to New Hampshire; Julie Rose Williams, Boise; DeEtte Bastion, Napa ID; Larry Edmond Taylor of Mesquite, NV, Jay Dee Taylor, Vancourver, WA, 19 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister Ada Marie creamer of Boise and a brother Vernal Taylor Afton.
A son Frank preceded him in death in 1992.
