Raymond Cox, 73, of KCK died Thursday, Jan 30, 2003, at his home. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Feb 3, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Av, KCK. Burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Friends may call 2-3:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Raymond was born Oct 15, 1929 in Bethel, KS. He was a switchman for the Santa Fe RR for 38 yrs, retiring in 1992. He also was a reserve officer for the WYCO Sheriff's Dept for 23 years, retiring in 2002. Raymond is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joann Cox of the home; two daughters, Marsha Chaffin and husband, Ray and Sarah Forrest and husband, Frank, all of KC KS, seven grandchildren, Kurt, Colette, Kathleen, Darrell, Jeanette, Laura & Heather.
