Bernard E. Marlowe, 77, 105 W. Vine, C, died at 5:10p.m. Monday (April 15, 1968) at Burnham City Hospital.

Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Owens Chapel, with C. Edgar Hildebrand officiating. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens.

Friends may visit from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Marlowe was born Sept. 2, 1890, in Jefferson County, son of William L. and Rosella Rogers Marlow. He married Ruth Irene Cook, in Covington, Ind., Dec. 23, 1932. She preceded him in death in May of 1962.

Survivors include two children, Ronald Marlowe, 317 Paul, C, and Mrs. Delores McKee, Wadsworth, Ohio, five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Lula Hunter, Bluford; one half-sister Mrs. Josephine Lovin, Greencastle, Penn.; and two half-brothers, Hall and Henry Marlowe, Bluford.

Mr. Marlowe was employed at Clifford-Jacobs Forging Co. in Champaign for 32 years and retired some years ago.
