Mrs. Wiltie U. Hendrix, 83, of 2803 7th St. died Wednesday at Peake's Nursing Home.
Funeral services will take place Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Fountain Lawn Funeral Home with the Rev. James L. Watson and the Rev. Larry Lee officiating. Burial will take place in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery on Hargrove Road.
She is survived by five sisters, Mrs. May Belle Hobson, Mrs. Myrtle Parker and Mrs. Estelle Johnson, all of Duncanville, Mrs. Frances Duncan and Mrs. Clarice Moon, both of Tuscaloosa; seven brothers, I. V. Stokes and E.W. Stokes, both of Fort Payne, C.L. Stokes of Corona, Calif., R.C. Stokes of Fountain Valley, Calif., J.P. Stokes of Branchland, W. Va., C.W. Stokes of Duncanville and W.B. Stokes of Birmingham.
Pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers not listed here for respect of living.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 p.m. at Fountain Lawn Funeral Home.
