Langheld Services Conducted Monday

MINDEN--Funeral services for Christopher Reynolds Langheld, Sr., were conducted in the Church of the Nazarene at 11 a.m. Monday with the Rev. T.P. Phipps officiating, assisted by the Rev. Irvin Roshto.

Langheld, 78, died Saturday night in the Meadowview Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. He had lived for most of his life in Webster Parish, and he was a member of the Nazarene Church.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. L.G. Watson and Mrs. Clinton Goodwin, both of Minden, Mrs. Garey King of Ferriday, Mrs. Glenn Scheiern of Poteau, Okla, and Mrs. Carolyn Kilgore of Baytown, Tex.; two sons, Christopher R. Langheld, Jr., of Ozark, Ala., and Danny Langheld of Minden; six brothers, Finis Langheld, Edgar Langheld, Oren Langheld, and Lovic Langheld, all of Minden, Walter Langheld of Magnolia, Ark., and Dillard Langheld of California; four sisters, Mrs. Lon Charking of Athens, Mrs. Bertha Krouse of Houston, Tex., and Mrs. F.O. Krouse and Mrs. Sid Miller, both of Minden; 16 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers for the services were Wayne Watson, Douglas Scheiern, Richard Langheld, James King, T.J. Reach, and Lonnie Simpson.

Interment was in Minden Cemetery under the direction of Green-Kleinegger Funeral Home of Minden.
