Margaret Scheiern

A memorial service for Margaret Scheiern, 70, of Oklahoma City, Okla, formerly of Minden, will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, 2006, at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Crain officiating.

Scheiern was born May 27, 1935. She died around 6:30 p.m. on December 11, 2005.

Scheiern was the parsonage queen in nine church of the Nazarene, pastored by her husband Glen, for 20-years before she was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease. She suffered a stroke in 1998 and was bedfast in the home for the past seven-years and nine-months.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Reynolds Langheld and Mineola (Miller) Langheld and one sister, Nelwyn (Langheld) King.

She is survived by her husband of 51-years, Glen Scheiern; one son, Douglas and wife Nancy Scheiern; one daughter, Danielle Scheiern; three grandchildren, Krista (Scheiern) Hands and husband Jeff, Ginger (Scheiern) Montgomery and husband Tony and Christopher Scheiern and wife Stephanie; three great-grandchildren, Colton Montgomery, Madelyn Montgomery and Abigail Hands; three sisters, Rubye (Langheld) Watson, Violet (Langheld) Goodwin and Carolyn (Langheld) Duncan; and two brothers, Daniel Langheld and Christopher Langheld.
